The title was won for the first time by Abbey Vale, winning their last seven games of the season to overhaul long-time league leaders Creetown, who were also chasing a first league title. The first were electrics, football shirts soon joined (and later replaced) by gas-powered models. Match played at Dumfries High School. Match played at North West Community Campus.
